Product Manager
We are seeking an applicant with 5-10 years of experience in a Product Management role. Experience at an agency or studio is a must, with exposure to a wide-range of creative and technology projects. They should be passionate about quality, innovation, and eager to steer complex projects with a careful eye towards budget and timing. They will collaborate with Designers, Engineers and Strategists, building delightful digital products and brands for our clients.
The Product Manager will report to the Product Director.
Responsibilities:
Drive product strategy within projects including feature definition and balancing MVP scope with iterative expansion and testing
Understand what drives users, and build accompanying documentation through research including journey maps, personas, and empathy maps
Manage the project lifecycle including gathering requirements, writing and prioritizing user stories, identifying and escalating risks, and overseeing deadlines
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, key stakeholders, and external partners to deliver client projects
Build strong relationships and trust with clients
Maintain an overall budget and schedule
Initiate and lead all appropriate project meetings
Regularly communicate progress, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders
Maintain a deep understanding of staff strengths and bandwidth, and delegate project work accordingly
Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment
Be self-motivated, self-aware, and eager to learn
Skill-set:
5-10 years of Product Management experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead via influence, patience, and determination
Strong problem-solving skills to preempt obstacles and conflicts
Extensive experience defining and reporting on metrics to support project and organizational goals
Ability to stay focused and figure out next steps with moving timelines
Exceptional Waterfall and Agile project management skills, including the ability to blend both approaches based on projects' needs
Highly proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Excel, and Google Docs
Familiar with Invision, Figma, or similar design tools
Strong bias for action
